A professional mountaineer for over five decades with experience in the North American Rockies, the Andes and the Himalayas, Laurie has led expeditions since 1971 and was an Instructor with the Colorado and Canadian Outward Bound Mountain Schools for nine years

Laurie became certified as an Association of Canadian Mountain Guide (ACMG) mountain guide in 1981. His inspirational leadership style, competency, and unique philosophy provide his clients with a mountain experience like no other. His belief is that the mountains offer an exceptional opportunity for individuals to move beyond their personal boundaries and help realize their full potential.
